DAY 0

Start your Mount Rinjani adventure the moment you arrive in Lombok. Our private car will take you comfortably to your cosy hotel in Senaru, the gateway village to Mount Rinjani, where the atmosphere is calm and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.

Upon arrival, your friendly and experienced trekking guide will personally welcome you and help you settle into your room so you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Before the trek begins, your guide will provide a detailed briefing to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. You’ll learn essential information about trekking safety, mountain etiquette, and how we work together to protect the natural beauty of Mount Rinjani by following responsible hiking practices.

Itinerary Tour (Sembalun - senaru/torean)

1st Day: Witnessing a breathtaking panorama from the Sembalun Crater Rim. The Sea of Clouds Stretches out below, Bathed in the Warm Glow of the Setting Sun.

  • Enjoying an early morning breakfast at the hotel at 6:00 am.
  • Starting the trek at 7:00 am, you'll leave Senaru village and head to the Gunung Rinjani office to register.
  • Trekking for 3 hours to Post 1 (1,300 m) from the starting point of the trek (1,051 m) and taking a rest at Post 1 for about 15 minutes
  • Reaching Post 2 (1,500 meters) takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Here, lunch will be provided.
  • While eating your lunch, take in the view of a vast expanse of emerald grassland. This high-altitude meadow, stretching for about 6 kilometers, sits between 1,400 and 1,700 meters above sea level. Rolling hills and lush rainforests frame this scenic panorama.
  • After a lunch break around 1 pm, the trek continues for another 2 hours to reach Post 3, located at 1,800 meters. Along the way, you'll be treated to the scenic beauty of Mount Rinjani Savana.
  • Taking a moment to recharge at Post 3 with biscuits and soft drinks.
  • Continuing the trekking to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m) for 3 hours
  • Our arrival at Sembalun Crater Rim, a basecamp for Mount Rinjani climbers, is expected around 4:30.
  • Witnessing the breathtaking panorama of Segara Anak Lake, where Mount Baru Jari rises majestically from its center. Capture stunning photos against the backdrop of Sangkareang Hill, and be mesmerized by the sea of clouds as they transform into a fiery canvas painted by the setting sun.
  • Having dinner at about 7 p.m. Your guide and porter will take care of the meal.

2nd Day: Witnessing the Immense Beauty of the Majestic Vista at the Peak of Mount Rinjani (standing tall at 3,726 meters)

  • The climb to the 3,726-meter summit of Mount Rinjani commences at 2:30 a.m., after having breakfast at 2:00 a.m. The trekking is expected to take between three and four hours.
  • Standing at the summit, you'll be surrounded by a refreshing mist as you witness a breathtaking sunrise. The panoramic view encompasses Segara Anak Lake, Lombok Island, Sumbawa Island, and even Bali in the distance.
  • Once you've witnessed the fantastic sunrise, embark on your trek to the Sembalun Crater Rim campsite.
  • Wrapping up our campsite stay with breakfast and getting ready for the next adventure.
  • We'll trek to Segara Anak Lake and the Hot Springs at 9 in the morning. It's a roughly three-hour trek because the steep path can be slippery.
  • Eating lunch at Segara Anak Lake, situated at an elevation of 2,008 meters above sea level. You are welcome to stroll around Segara Anak Lake, which is enveloped by tropical forests and hills. Additionally, it is possible to spend time in the Hot Springs. After ascending, soaking in hot water can assist in the relaxation of muscles and the alleviation of fatigue.
  • After enjoying a relaxing moment in the hot springs, you will begin the climb up three hills, each taking approximately one hour to complete.
  • After around three hours of ascending, you will arrive at Senaru Crater Rim, where you will set up camp and enjoy breathtaking views of the tropical rainforest and the three Gili islands visible in the distance.
  • In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by our team while relaxing under the sparkling stars above Mount Rinjani.

3rd Day: Witnessing the sunrise at Senaru Crater Rim, where Breathtaking Views of the Three Gilis and Majestic Mount Agung in Bali Unfold before You.

  • Enjoying breakfast while admiring the sunrise and the summit of Mount Rinjani and Segara Anak Lake.
  • Descending to Senaru village at 8 a.m. while walking requires five hours.
  • Eating lunch at Post 2
  • Upon reaching the main gate of Mount Rinjani, we will transport you to the hotel by vehicle. This process requires approximately 15 minutes.
  • As part of our final service, our driver will transport you to your next destination (Mataram City, Senggigi, or Bangsal Port) after you have prepared yourself at the hotel.
